WELCOME TO BOAT LIFT INSTALLERS LLC
Experience Built Through Generations
Owner Marc McGowan began his career in the marine construction industry in 2013 and has spent more than a decade developing his experience and expertise. After earning his contractor’s license in 2016 at the age of 23, Marc dedicated himself to mastering his craft and building the knowledge and experience necessary to provide customers with the highest level of service.
Much of Marc’s experience came from working alongside his father, Dave McGowan, a marine construction professional with more than 30 years of industry experience. During the nine years Marc worked under his father, he gained invaluable hands on experience and learned the importance of quality workmanship, proper installation, and doing the job right the first time.
Marc was also fortunate to be mentored by Dave Humphries, founder of Neptune Boat Lifts and one of the most respected names in the boat lift industry. Through these relationships, Marc gained extensive knowledge of boat lift installation, marine construction, and the standards required to produce work that customers can depend on for years to come.
Today, Boat Lift Installers brings that experience to every project. Our commitment is simple: provide quality workmanship, clear communication, and a professional experience from the first conversation through the final installation.

Frequently asked questions
Can I afford a yachting vacation?
Certainly! Yachting vacations come in a range of options, from budget-friendly to luxurious. The cost depends on factors like the size of the yacht, destination, duration, and additional services like crew, food, and activities. Research various charter companies, compare prices, and consider sharing the cost with friends or family to make it more affordable. With proper planning and budgeting, a yachting vacation can be within reach for many budgets.
What kind of yacht should I charter?
The type of yacht you should charter depends on your preferences, budget, and the experience you’re seeking. Consider factors like the size of your group, desired amenities, cruising speed, and destination accessibility. Options range from sailing yachts for a more authentic, wind-powered experience to motor yachts offering speed and luxury. Catamarans are great for stability and spaciousness, ideal for families or large groups. Research different types, consult with charter companies for recommendations, and choose based on your priorities for comfort, adventure, and budget.
Why are your travel so expensive?
Yacht charters can be costly due to various factors. Firstly, the initial investment in purchasing and maintaining a yacht is significant. Yachts require regular maintenance, crew salaries, insurance, and docking fees, all of which contribute to the overall cost. Additionally, luxury amenities and high-quality services provided during the charter, such as gourmet dining, water sports equipment, and professional crew members, contribute to the expense. Furthermore, demand for yacht charters in popular destinations during peak seasons can drive prices up. While yacht charters may seem expensive, they offer unparalleled luxury, privacy, and personalized experiences that justify the cost for many travelers.
Which payment methods are acceptable?
Payment methods accepted for yacht charters vary depending on the charter company and location. Generally, most charter companies accept major credit cards, such as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, for both deposits and final payments. Some companies may also accept bank transfers or alternative payment platforms like PayPal or cryptocurrency, though this is less common. It’s best to check with the specific charter company you’re considering to confirm their accepted payment methods and any associated terms or fees.
